I'm going to cancel the Saturday morning pick ups.  We only had five this Saturday, and it's become evident to me, that most of the kids have too much going on with thier new high school teams.  We'll try again next spring.

Adult soccer was a rout.  We won 8-0.  Our new recruits impressed, with Bob Quick scoring 6 goals and Chad Dahl contributing from the defense to keep the clean sheet.  I barely had to do any work at all. <grin>

• Practices at Mondays at 6:30pm at Martin Luther King Park (42nd & Nicollet)
• Game this Sunday is at 10:00am
• Game on Sunday, Sept27th is at 12:30pm
• Game on Sunday, Oct 4th is at 3:30pm
• Game on Sunday, Oct 11th is at 10:00am
• Game on Sunday, Oct 18th is at 9:00am

Other Adult Soccer stuff:

I haven't checked with Braemar yet, but I heard a rumor from a referee last year that they weren't going to have a league this year.  With cornerkick folding that pretty much leaves Holy Angels.  I would expect it will cost pretty much the same as last year, about $10/game with rebates to people who pay in full up front.  Hit me with an email if you're interested.

Saturday morning soccer continues.... Sorry I missed that one week, I had completely forgotten that I was going to be on retreat last weekend.  But I should be there from now on.  (at least until Todd Park is covered in snow.)

Under 9 Boys' Hopkins
Game on Saturday at 2:20pm.  Not sure when we'll practice next.  I think it's set up for Tuesday.
